Millions of animals have been the subjects of painful tests routinely performed as part
of the complex development of most new and "improved" cosmetics, personal care
items and household products. The NAVS is a national not-for-profit organization which
promotes greater compassion,
respect and justice for animals. NAVS' educational programs are directed at increasing
public awareness about vivisection, identifying humane solutions to human problems,
